AC agent support for Windows ARM machines

The AC Agent now extends its support to Windows Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) machines, in addition to Windows x64 machines. While no specific AC Agent features have been designed exclusively for Windows ARM machines, the core functionality of the AC Agent remains consistent across both Windows x64 and Windows ARM platforms.

You must manually install both the license file and the AC Agent configuration file explicitly for AC Agent on Windows ARM machines.

Installation steps for ARM User Workspace Manager 2025.2 on Windows ARM 64 Machines:

  1. Extract the ARM 2025.2 Suite. Extract the contents of the ARM_User_Workspace_Manager_2025.2 folder, which includes:

    • Software folder with the AC Agent MSI and dependency packages.

    • Release Notes folder with the ARM release notes document.

  2. Navigate to the Software folder to install dependency packages.

    Install all necessary dependency packages listed within Prerequisites folder.

  3. Run the MSI file from software folder to install the AC Agent on the Windows ARM 64 machine.

    AC Agent MSI is installed.

  4. Copy the Application Control license .lic file into the following path.

    C:\ProgramData\AppSense\Licenses

  5. Reboot the device.
